The editor is responsible for maintaining the standards for evaluating and accepting manuscripts submitted to a scholarly journal. While experienced scholars and researchers likely already understand and follow the guidelines, they may be helpful for those new to editorial duties.
 

Few important guidelines:

Please provide an unbiased evaluation without hesitation. We are open to making any necessary revisions to ensure the desired level of quality. If a manuscript falls outside the scope of the journal, please kindly decline it without review. 
 

If the submission is rejected, please provide a clear reason and offer guidance on any necessary next steps. For example, if the rejection is due to language or subject matter, you may suggest editing or indicate that the topic is not within the scope. It's important to maintain a high standard of language quality that is understandable to readers worldwide.
 

Ethical Obligations:

• Editors are required to evaluate all manuscripts submitted for publication impartially, based solely on their individual merits. The author(s)' race, religion, nationality, gender, seniority, or institutional affiliation should not be taken into account.
• The editor must promptly and thoroughly review all manuscripts submitted for publication. They have the sole responsibility of deciding whether to accept or reject a manuscript. If a manuscript is deemed unsuitable for the journal, it may be declined without review.
• To ensure confidentiality, the editor and editorial team must not share any details about a manuscript under review with anyone except those providing professional guidance. Once a decision has been made, the editor may reveal the titles of accepted manuscripts and the names of their authors.
• To ensure the author's intellectual autonomy, editors must prioritize it.
• To avoid a conflict of interest, any manuscript written by an editor and submitted to their journal should be reviewed by another qualified person who will assume editorial responsibility and authority. The author-editor should not be involved in any editorial decisions regarding their own manuscript.
• Editors must obtain permission from the author before using any unpublished information or interpretations revealed in a submitted manuscript for their personal research.
• If a manuscript is found to be closely related to an editor's research, creating a conflict of interest, the editor must arrange for another qualified individual to take on editorial responsibility for the manuscript.
• If an editor receives convincing evidence that the main content or conclusions of a previously published report in their journal are incorrect, they must publish a suitable report or notation that acknowledges the error and, if possible, corrects it.
• An author may kindly request the editor to refrain from utilizing specific reviewers during the evaluation process of a manuscript.
• It is recommended that an Editor send a PDF format instead of Microsoft Word or any other electronic file to the reviewers. Additionally, it is advised to request that comments not be made to the electronic copy of the manuscript.
