• Doctorate: Base de données géographiques et photos aériennes : de l’appariement à la mise à jour, INSA Lyon, 1993. 
• Maître de conférences since 1993 at INSA Lyon.
• Member of several national / regional scientific bodies: Labex IMU “Intelligence des Mondes Urbains,” CNRS GDR MAGIS, editorial boards (Ex: Revue Internationale de Géomatique) etc.

Teaching & Mentorship

• Responsible for courses/seminars at 5ᵉ year engineering of INSA in Information Systems; involvement in Masters (Research & Professional) especially in Spatial Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
