Lymph Node Biopsy

A lymph node biopsy is a procedure wherein a sample of a lymph node is removed and examined, usually under a microscope, to detect the presence of an infection or cancer. It can also be used to assess an individual's response to various treatments. The biopsy is an important tool for diagnosing and treating a range of diseases and can be used to diagnose and treat conditions such as lymphoma, some leukemias, and other types of cancer. It is also used to assess the risk of a patient developing certain types of cancer and to monitor them after treatment.
