Nations with rampant corruption and ineffective bureaucracy made worse, the response towards the fight against COVID-19, Coronavirus Disease 2019. Adjacent Segment Disease Associated with Klippel-Feil Syndrome: A New Classification System with Corresponding Therapeutic Options
Abstract:
Klippel-Feil Syndrome (KFS) is described as the clinical triad of short neck, low posterior hairline, and limitation of neck mobility. Topresent our clinical experience with KFS patients who also had adjacent segment disease (ASD) and to propose a novel classification system for these patients. This retrospective study was performed in the neurosurgery department of our tertiary care center. Data were gathered using the medical records of 22 KFS patients (10 males, 12 females) with ASD. Diagnosis was confirmed with imaging modalities including X-ray, computerized tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. Clinical and radiological findings as well as therapeutic outcomes were noted.

Lennert Lymphoma (lymphoepithelioid lymphoma) with Extensive Necrosis: A Case Report
Abstract:
Lennert lymphoma (lymphoepitheloid lymphoma) is an extremely rare variant of peripheral T-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified. Here we report a case of Lennert lymphoma diagnosed in a 57-year-old woman. She had a three-year history of waxing and waning lymphadenopathy with a rapid increase in size in the past four months before presentation. A needle biopsy and a fine needle aspiration were non-diagnostic due to extensive necrosis. The patient underwent a right neck lymph node excisional biopsy which showed the lymph node architecture was effaced by numerous and sometimes confluent clusters of epithelioid histiocytes and infiltration of small lymphocytes. Extensive necrosis was present. Immunohistochemical stains revealed a mixed population of B- and T-cells with the T-cells showing diminished T-cell markers CD3, CD5, and CD7. Community-based psychosocial support centers for cancer patients and their relatives (CBPSCs), developed in the Netherlands, offer easily accessible contacts with fellow patients and support by trained volunteers. We studied the characteristics of visitors of CBPSCs, which palliative support they need and receive, and how satisfied they are with this support. The role of 20 CBPSCs was explored in semi-structured interviews among 34 visitors with regard to their contacts with CBPSCs on palliative care (study 1).
