From puberty and throughout their reproductive life, women need care that addresses their physical, emotional and mental health. Midwifery women's health strives to balance the art and science of midwifery, bridging medical knowledge and women's unique experiences. Midwives play a critical role in maintaining and improving Women's Reproductive Health by providing preventive care, year-round gynecological care, family planning services, and well-woman check-ups. Midwives are trained to provide personalized care, making sure that women feel heard, respected, and valued. They aim to provide informed and evidence-based care, helping women make informed decisions about their health and well-being. Midwifery women’s health care also focuses on fertility, pregnancy, and childbirth. Midwives are experts in supporting women to have safe and healthy pregnancies, conducting routine prenatal care and examinations, and providing breastfeeding support postpartum.
