Overview

Journal of Plant Cell Development (JPCD) is an open access peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge related to plant cell development and biology. The journal offers a platform for papers that address topics such as cell/tissue structure and function, signal transduction and metabolism, genome/proteome expression and regulation, cellular/tissue differentiation and development, and the effects of stress and senescence. 
 

Mission

The aim of JPCD is to contribute to the formulation of multidisciplinary hypotheses and ideas, as well as to provide a platform for the dissemination of new data and methods. In order to achieve these goals, the journal encourages the facilitation of collaboration between researchers from different fields.

All submissions can be done at our Online Manuscript Submission System. Authors are requested to submit their articles directly to Online Manuscript Submission. Accepted article types

JPCD encourages authors to publish original, innovative, and timely research with scope relevant to plant cell development. The journal publishes research, reviews, short communications, case reports, letters to the editor, Editorials, clinical case images, opinions, mini-reviews, conference proceedings from authors in the field of plant cell biology.

We welcome the submission of manuscripts from any country, both in the form of original research and review articles. All published papers are freely available to readers, and authors are permitted to self-archive their work in institutional repositories. 

 

Article Processing Charge

JPCD publishes papers under open access license and does not charge readers or their institutions for access. Authors are required to pay an article processing charge (APC) upon acceptance of their article. The APC helps the journal to maintain its high editorial and publishing standards and to provide efficient services to authors and readers.
