Journal of Biomaterials (JBI) is an open access, international, peer-reviewed journal that seeks to publish high-quality articles and reviews across all aspects of biomaterials research. The journal publishes both original research and review articles as well as essays, commentaries, and correspondence. The scope of the journal includes studies on the development, design, fabrication, characterization, and application of biomaterials for medical use, natural and synthetic materials that have been modified to enhance their properties for use in medical devices, implants, tissue.
